I watched the whole debate last night between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. I listened intently for the first time ever. I'm honestly not huge into politics, but for some reason this race has grasped me and made me interested. Perhaps it's because, now more than ever, our country is at stake. I really like Romney. I would prefer to have a Christian man lead this country again, and I do disagree with some of Mitt's idea's and morals, yes, but I would much rather have him than have Obama. I would rather have a Christian with the same morals as me, but if a Mormon is the best thing (which in my opinion, he is) then I'll take the Mormon. I can not support anyone who thinks it's alright to kill a baby. I'm not saying Obama is a bad person, I don't know him. I've never spoken to him. I've never even seen him in person. But I do know that our morals and values are VERY different.
I was very pleased when Romney won the debate last night, my mom, step-dad and I were over-joyed. One step closer to having a Pro-Life president, one step closer to ending this.
I know that if our country continues on the track it is on at this day in time then the Lord will be coming for us soon! It's hard for me to have hope for this country, but last night gave me a little bit of hope.
I'm excited to see Biden and Ryan debate on the 11th.
