Hey, whoever is reading this! Before I start on the actual post I thought I'd make a little introduction.
I am from Tennessee, and I have a huge family.
My family is currently in the hopeful process of adopting a little boy who I will reference as "Petey" as we can not say his real name.
As I said before, I have a huge family, I am an Aunt to seven kiddos, a little sister and a big sister, I have four siblings who are blood related and two step-sisters, and of course, little Petey.
I am VERY Pro-Life, and I will NOT argue with anyone about it, sorry, but I won't.
One of the many, many, many reasons I
am Pro-Life is probably the fact that if it had been up to the doctors, I
would have been aborted.
My mother had a very rough pregnancy
and was told to abort me a good few times, but she stuck through it and
gave me life. She was VERY sick, I mean VERY sick and was in the ICU
after my birth and she was in the hospital a LOT during the pregnancy.
I was a preemie, and I weighed very
little, I was tiny and I was in the NICU for a little while. She had
three other kids and none of the pregnancies were like this.
Now,
for as long as I've been alive, there are things she can't do, she
can't even take any pills (Like Ibuprofen, Tylenol and etc) because of
some issues that happened right after the pregnancy.
If it weren't for my mother's braveness
and love for her children, I would be dead. I wouldn't be here typing
this, I would have never known the love of my mother, I would have never
gotten the chance to go outside and catch fireflies, or pick flowers or
do any of those other little girl things.
My father is an unhealthy man, he has a
lot of issues, but my mom thought I could help him, he really was a
good man, he loved his kids, he always wanted lots of kids, but he got
caught up in the world.
After she gave birth to me, she was in
the ICU (as I stated above) for a long time, and my Aunt had to come to
our house from another state to take care of me while she was unable.
My mother was and is a fighter, and I fully know that if my mother had been another woman, I could have been aborted.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I am Pro-Life (Well, there are hundreds of other reasons I am Pro-Life, but I'll save that for another time!!!)
